Family Faith Formation

Sacred Heart Family Faith is going Hybrid! All sessions will be offered twice monthly in-person on Sunday mornings or virtually on Wednesday evenings via Zoom. We are offering both options as our world continues to work toward getting back to normal during the pandemic.

Sacred Heart offers a non-traditional approach to assist parents in forming the faith of their children. “Family Faith Formation” is  exactly what it says – families sharing and growing in faith. This process consists of:

  • Gathering together in a large group setting virtually via Zoom OR in-person for opening prayer and introduction of the theme, and then breaking into smaller breakout rooms led by a volunteer catechist.
  • Reflecting on the Sunday Scripture, including participating in a variety of learning techniques to engage all of the members of the family, such as Jeopardy, crafts, Bingo, faith sharing, and more.

Sessions are twice monthly, September through April –  from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm virtually via Zoom on Wednesday’s  OR Sunday mornings 10:30 am to 12:00 pm in-person in the auditorium at the North Campus, 3515 N. Florida Ave.

Wednesday sessions will continue virtually for our 2021-22 calendar, while our Sunday sessions will be in-person at the North Campus. [Please Note: Wednesday’s virtual sessions for 2021-22 are full. Placements for Sunday in-person sessions are still available.]

For those participating virtually, Zoom invites will be sent to you via email.
