Women’s Prayer Group

In an effort to create a community of women within the parish focused on a thoughtful and engaging practice of prayer, Sacred Heart’s Women’s Prayer Group hopes

Spiritual renewal and community are at the heart of the Women’s Prayer Group, which is open to all women of Sacred Heart. The Women’s Prayer Group aims to share, support, and honor each other as they seek to strengthen their faith through prayer, while also exploring the Gospel. This group also gathers together to pray the intentions of the women who attend, as well as explore the Gospels through the yes of women.

Meetings open with prayer for our parishioners and personal petitions prior to the introduction of a theme and discussion topic, and will include time for introspection as well as small group collaboration.

  • Time Commitment: Currently meeting once a month in the North Campus Alumni Hall.
    • Daytime Session: Second Wednesday of the Month, at 1 p.m. (includes lunch provided by one of the attendees; RSVP’s are requested for these sessions, so lunch can be planned).
    • Evening Sessions: On hold until a new facilitator is found.
