A/C Campaign

Our air conditioning system has long and well served our church, but its life has come to an end. Sacred Heart must install a new system that will last us for years to come. We have been working with engineers and experts in the field to replace our aging system, but we need your help in raising the funds to do it.

Our Campaign Goal: $300,000

We are asking for your continued help in the ongoing restoration and maintenance of our historic church.  Donate today to help us fix our failing air conditioning system, modernize our church electrical panels, and relocate all of it above the downtown Tampa flood zone. Our hope is to have our new system completed and installed by mid-December 2016.

Here’s How You Can Donate:

Offertory Giving
There will be envelopes available in the pews of the church. Simply fill it out and drop it into the offertory basket at any Mass during the month of September. You can also drop it off at the Parish Office or at the Sacred Heart Gift & Book Store.

Online Giving
Through our Online Giving page, you can choose a one-time donation, or set up planned giving through a series of monthly donations. Just select the “Be Cool Campaign.”

If you are not already an online giver, you will need to create an account. Click here and consider making this your preferred means of giving for our Sunday offertory.

PayPal
Through PayPal, you can make a one-time donation. There is no need to create an account.

Call Campaign
You can even donate over the phone. From Sunday, September 25th through Thursday, September 29th, we will hold a Call Campaign and reach out to each of our parish households to ask for your financial support for the campaign.

If you have already donated by Tuesday, September 20th, we will not call you.

A Word from Fr. George…
This is a big undertaking for us, and I do not ask for your support lightly. I would ask everyone to consider making a sacrificial gift for the success of our campaign. And in response, our gifts have come in all shapes and sizes, with families already making gifts from $100 up to $20,000.

Please know we are grateful for whatever you are able to do.

Pax et bonum,
Fr. George Corrigan, OFM
