Sacramental Preparation

Daily Masses have resumed and Sunday masses are starting – find out more on the Parish News page! During this time, Sacred Heart will provide a live stream of Sunday Mass, which can be viewed here.  Know that the Franciscan Friars keep you all in prayer. Be well. Be smart. Be holy

Sacramental Preparation meetings and programs have concluded for this season. Plans are being made for the Autumn of 2020. Stay tuned!  We are tentatively planning the celebration of last year’s First Holy Communion on September 12th at 9:30 am and 12:00 pm.

A key part of living out our Catholic faith is participation in the Sacraments of the Church, which is founded upon participation with the local community of faith as it engages in the various activities of discipleship: worship, studying God’s word, and engaging in the ministries of the parish.

Sacred Heart offers preparation for the immediate reception of the Sacraments of Initiation for children: Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist as well as the Sacrament of Reconciliation. We invite you to explore each of our Sacramental Preparation programs below and contact us if you are interested in enrolling your child or children.

Please note: The Diocese of St. Petersburg requires at least two years of consecutive Faith Formation, whether in a Catholic parochial school or parish Faith Formation program, prior to the celebration of the Sacraments.
