Hands Of Hope

IMG_1517Each Saturday, our Hands of Hope ministry gathers together to prepare a meal for our homeless neighbors and then distributes it downtown while offering friendship and fellowship to the people we serve. A great way for families and teens to help those less fortunate and to spend some quality time with one another, Hands of Hope touches people in a variety of ways.

Do you love helping others? Do you enjoy listening to and learning about new people, sharing your faith and encouraging others? Or do you simply like to put on an apron every now and then and share your favorite recipe? If any of this sounds like you, we would love to have you join us.

  • Time Commitment: Every Saturday; volunteers can do one or both as your schedule allows:
    • 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. | Prepare the meal at Sacred Heart North Campus
    • 11:45 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. | Serve the meal and provide fellowship at a location in downtown
  • Responsibilities:  Helping prepare the meal, setting up to serve, cleaning up after serving.
  • Training:  No training required. Ministry members will guide newcomers through the process.
