Lent offers us the opportunity to prepare our hearts for Easter and deepen our relationship with God through prayer, self-examination and repentance, but that doesn’t mean we have to walk that road alone, per se. There are many Lenten resources available from both our diocese and from our Friars’ province that can help you on your journey.
Lent with Francis | The Friars of Our Lady of Guadalupe Province can help you explore this season through a Franciscan lens. Pope Leo XVI has invited us to live more like St. Francis during this Jubilee year, therefore, dive into this season of penance through a series of weekly reflections on the Sunday Lenten Gospels in light of the penitential lifestyle and lived spirituality of St. Francis. Visit friars.us/news-and-media/lent-resources to receive these each week.
DOSP Lent | The Diocese of St. Petersburg has complied a resource page for Catholics across our region with access to daily reflections, prayer guides, information on resuming Reconciliation, and Lenten event listings for every parish in Tampa Bay. Visit dosp.org/our-faith/lent for all of this and more.
