At Sacred Heart, we have so many opportunities for you to give of your time and volunteer in service to one another and the larger parish community. We, as a community, offer our open hearts, open minds, and open doors to all, being especially attentive to those who society often overlooks. The reality of human suffering, whether physical, spiritual, or mental, challenges believers at the core of their religious convictions. Ministry to those who suffer involves the art of attending to one another in his or her pain as well as the ability to stand in solidarity without judgment or criticism as the first step towards healing.
With a group of dedicated, caring parishioners, we attend to the spiritual, pastoral, and social needs of this growing and diverse population. We promote Catholic Social Teaching in the context of the problems of justice and compassion occurring in our own locale, state, and nation, as well as provide support or comfort in times of need. We invite you to consider joining one of our ministries below.
